It’s easy to see why Where To Retire magazine chose SaddleBrooke as one of America’s top 100 best master-planned communities. Within this stunning Sonoran desert setting just 20 minutes north of downtown Tucson, you’ll find an appealing combination of natural tranquility and vibrant excitement.
Established in 1986, SaddleBrooke is now home to almost 8,000 residents. That means an abundance of community groups and traditions, but it also means that fewer than 150 new homesites remain- so don’t wait too long

SaddleBrooke Overview
Narrator: Gorgeous mountain views and panoramic vistas are hallmarks of SaddleBrooke. Nestled in the foothills of the Santa Catalina mountains in Tucson, prestigious SaddleBrooke is known for its luxurious upscale homes and stunning resort amenities. This master-planned community offers you a fabulous lifestyle in one of the most picturesque residential environments in the country. World-class country clubs overlook the splendor of the Catalina mountains. Luxuriously appointed club houses exemplify an outstanding resort lifestyle. Mountain View Country Club, recipient of the prestigious Gold Aware by the National Association of Homebuilders is a warm, and inviting gathering place where homeowners get to know one another and can participate in a wealth of activities. Spanning approximately 28,500 sf under roof, the Mountain View Clubhouse is infused with a casual elegance and provides a comfortable setting for SaddleBrooke Homeowners.
Therese: At the Mountain View Clubhouse we have the Palo Verde restaurant which is very nice to go in for dinner or you can have banquets there and that is great and we have a big ballroom and it can be sized down, and then there is a number of meeting rooms available too, as well as a library. We have several libraries on site, so it is a pretty jam-packed area of a lot of different things to do.
Narrator: Sports and Aquatics are well represented at SaddleBrooke with lighted tennis courts available at Mountain View and our Desert View facilities. The resort-style pool and lap pool are a great place to exercise, take a dip, or simply relax with a magazine or book. The Mesquite Grill is a perfect spot to celebrate your tennis victory, unwind after 18 holes of golf or join your neighbors for a delicious meal. A fully stocked pro shop meets your golf needs, including the latest apparel, golf gear and league play. For great entertainment, the 478 seat Desert View Performing Arts Center hosts a variety of performances throughout the year, including musicals, concerts, comedies and theater. This venue is also home to the Desert View Cinema Club, which brings feature films to the community. If you would like to exercise your artistic talents, the Creative Arts Center is the place to do it. SaddleBrooke is also home to a convenient dog park, softball fields, and wonderful hiking and biking opportunities with unparalleled mountain view vistas.
Doug: I would say that the amenities all over SaddleBrooke are world-class. If you have an interest, they have a club here that fits it. It has a world-class softball field, electronic scoreboard, bleachers, the whole thing, and it is used every day by the teams here at SaddleBrooke.
Candy: SaddleBrooke’s amenities are so various and so vast, I don’t think I could describe them all. There are so many things to do, you can’t possibly do them all, and if you did, you would have to be about 150.
Narrator: Designed by acclaimed golf course architect Gary Panks, the Mountain View golf club is artfully interwoven throughout the rolling desert terrain for an unforgettable experience.
Tim: Mountain View Golf Course, I think, is my personal favorite to play because it is very scenic. Every hole has probably what you might call a signature hole view, either from the T-box or from the green. I love it.
