METHADONE PATHWAYS BAND PROMO
In an attempt to create a saga of addictions, Methadone (pathways) have invented a host of characters typical of the historical growth and decadence. The human drama in the poetry is then built over the musical doors of the actual modernism.
The distortion of time through the use of the inner monologue are fused particularly successfully in the presentation of the conceptual proposals.
Their theme is the decay of the old feeling, as represented by the needle and the substances, the emergence of new themes. The distortion of time through “presinaptic and postsinaptic stereospecific opiated receivers”, the downfall of the religion contradiction of “You´re always so far away” seen through the minds of several characters of “dynasty of the blind (the shattered sanctuaries)”.
The lack of intelectual meaning is the rule, everything can be done on this modernism, on this endless realm of fusion.
