Report: Alcohol abuse up among young Aussies
Youth organizations in Australia have reported a fourfold increase in alcohol use in young people over the last five years and are calling on the federal government to adopt preventative measures including increasing the tax on alcohol and limiting the opening hours of Alcohol stores. Many are concerned that cheap and accessible alcohol, encourages drinking among young people in Australia, which has become a growing problem throughout the country.
