“Heroin” is an extensive collection of various demos, the bands 1992 New Years Eve appearance on MTV, and some other random live cuts…..I think this collection is fairly accessable, but does offer up some good moments for fans of the band.
My favorite Alice in Chains album is the most emotionally draining of them all, “Dirt”…..and we have a good set of demos fromthat album. Again, worth hearing if you are a fan of that album, I wish it included early versions of some of the rst of that album, but its good to hear the origins of “Rooster”, “Would?”, “Junkhead”…..”Dirt”, I think, was argueably the best album ever dealing with the concept of sever drug addiction from the inside, long a favorite of mine from the grunge era of the early 1990’s…..
