Health Promotion- Alcohol Abuse
***Please Read***
Alcohol is the number 1 cause of injury and death among young people. When drunk, you are more likely to put yourself in risky situations; such as getting into a car with someone who’s been drinking or being the perpetrator or victim of violence.
Binge drinking increases the health risks of alcohol, including both short-term side effects and long-term consequences, and can harm both the drinker and their community.
Around 90% of Australian teenagers over the age of 14 years have tried alcohol at least once.
According to the 2007 National Drug Strategy Household Survey, more than 20%
of 14-19 year olds consume alcohol on a weekly basis.

This short video was for a Year 11 Health Assignment about alcohol use and binge drinking in teenagers. We are definitely not professional film makers (and yes, it is pretty obvious!) But we hope you enjoyed, or at least laughed while watching this! (Yes, it was cheesy!) 🙂
Disclaimer: *We were not drinking, nor was there any alcohol in the bottle*
